cross sectional area = (pi * (48.3/2)^2)-(pi * (48.3-(2+2)/2)^2)  
 
=92.5*pi  
 
volume mm^3 = csa * length = 109731 *pi  
 
volume m^3 = 0.000109731 * pi (divide by 1000^3)
